Info is scarce on the RHB32 water cooled turbo, almost as rare as the turbo itself has become. I've done some digging without much success, but wondering if anybody knows the difference between the VZ5 and the VZ13? They look identical, other than the water pipe manifold being a slightly different c...

Thanks, I’ll take a look at the thread. Currently, the turbo is doing ok besides leaking oil through the seals. I don’t want to potentially mess it up without a backup plan.

Any luck on getting additional technical info?

@jamalspelling, I wish you the best of luck! What did you do about the rear shocks? I haven't got that far, way behind the 8-ball lately. Lots of good stuff I have just pecking away at. I cleared out all the Gabriel struts/shocks awhile back when the KYB's went out of stock, then got the Koni front...

I mounted some knock off Sparco seats a while back. I kept it super simple and just made an adaptor plate out of sheet aluminum. I just matched up the holes for the sliders, then matched up the holes for the cheap seats I bought at the auto parts store and got some good hardware with nylon locknuts ...

Bravo. So much fun, right? I'm glad you are open minded and not such a purist, you know what is right for you. I'm slowly working away on my projects as well. No time. I used to have a lot of time. The biggest thing I discovered in 2022 is detailing clay. Yes, I knew about it but never used it, it i...

I like the sound of the Walbro, you know it’s working when
you turn the key on.

It's close, you could probably make it work, but not sure. It's 7mm longer and the min. PSI and GPH according to Carter, is slightly less than the one Carter says will fit MK1 T3. Also the inlet side looks totally different, you probably can't swap the end cap insulator and there's no specs to say i...

This is great! Thank you for sharing, I’m glad to see some new posts regarding projects.
I need motivation, I have too many projects and no time, but I try to do a little bit
everyday. Keep us updated on your work!

All of those were really good tips and suggestions. This is a learning forum where people share their ideas and experience about this motorsport passion. You asked for input on something no one else has done successfully, I pointed out many things that could contribute to your issue, and lots of ide...
