Happy Harley Daze everyone.
The units are very rebuildable. If you don't know what your looking at and playing with, I would say have Joel rebuild the unit. He also the guy who sells the new thicker gears for the diff in the 4.39s. I am a builder, but do not recommend most people doing their own build. Yours will probably need...
I saw this over at GMF. Bought several sets for the future projects. Great price. I was able to use this discount code: . WL1869
Nachi and Koyo are both great bearings. Made in Japan. Stay away from KBC’s. Beyond cheap. I built standard transmissions most of my career, the American bears like Timken were super over priced.
Welcome to the forum. We love pictures of our cars here.

There used to be a pretty active group up in the N OR and S WA areas. Have not seen much happening up there is Old Man died a few years ago. Stay away from GeoJeff and his crap. Snake oil salesman.
I enjoyed that. While on the straights big hp takes over, but once its in when it comes to the corners, your eating them up. Yeah a fresh engine and maybe a bit taller gearing might help on the straights. Keep posting.
