Where to Start I didn't take pictures yet since I don't want to unwrap the meticulously wrapped bundles. I double checked my purchase order with what I received. All here except I noticed that I didn't get the black anodized box the MS2 but instead received the casing silver box for the MS3. I went...

We transferred the entire elect system from our parts car to the metro. It ran good for awhile but started dying on occasion. We traced it to the low voltage from the ecu to the injectors. Give her a shot of starting fluid she fires right up but dies due to no fuel. I don't have a spare ecu to try....

I received the Megasquirt package yesterday, but barely had a chance to even open the box. I’ll start by taking pictures of the different components. I haven’t gotten a chance to read anything yet so I’m at least a week out before I start assembling anything.

Welcome! Fixing the electrical system would be way easier then trying to manufacture a carb intake. What is wrong with the electrical? Did you get all the components from one vehicle or was it pieced together? Do you have the right year FSM? That is where I would start; it is actually where I start ...

I'm feeling generous and I'll list the trouble shooting procedure for no start, no injector pulse. First I'll post the MAF sensor flow chart: Disconnect AFS (MAF) coupler and remove coupler seal to test voltage from back of coupler. Check voltage at "W" wire terminal of coupler with ignition switch ...

Do you have a FSM? Trying to trouble shoot without that will be difficult. Do you know what year the engine, wiring harness, and ECU are from?

I thought I would start this thread to log anything useful and post questions about MegaSquirt II throughout my installation. I ordered everything yesterday so should be here by the end of the week. I guess I'll start by posting what I bought and price which could be useful for others. It will be in...

I spent a little time looking for a suitable replacement. I did find some useful information on I have since forgotten what I found. In short order I wasn't looking forward to spending the money on something I couldn't verify would be the same or similar enough. I for one would be in...

Thanks all of you for quick and informative replies! I failed this time to retrieve anything useful from the "wayback machine" function handling old posts. Maybe I am luckier another day. I check with suprf1y and Teeth first and see what comes out of that. I don't think the link under archives is w...
