The F3 is the ECU from a 90 to 91 GT 1.3 DOHC. It has the same plugs as an I2 from my 92 GT 1.3 DOHC (I believe the I2 as above is from a 92 to 93 maybe 94). The routing in the ECU is slightly different, but everything looks to go to the same places.

The later ECUs, I2 (92-93) and I6 (94 only) make slightly more power, probably due to a slightly more aggressive timing map and faster processors. Unfortunately, offsetting that advantage is a bug in the code that can prevent the ECU from enrichening properly with the throttle until well after warmup–don’t try to run one of the later cars hard until you’ve been driving 15 minutes or so.

Most people run a chipped ECU witch is a lot more aggressive. As for the valves. Have never had an issue with stock. Even at high revs and bigger cams. So I do not know why you think they are weak.
